AGENCY/MENTOR PARTNERS

We’re looking for agencies and organisations to help us mentor disabled creatives. Our creative programme aims to champion and support disabled and neurodivergent folk, now in it’s 3rd year.

A large, diverse group of participants and organisers for the 'Creative Equals: Disabled Creatives UK 2024' programme, including individuals in wheelchairs.

Be part of the change, bring your expertise and mentorship to the table.

Join us to mentor and champion the most creative people in the world – disabled and neurodivergent talent.
Disabled people make up just 12% of the UK creative industry*. It’s time for that to change.

More than ever the advertising, design and marketing industries need innovative problem solvers. We need disabled creatives at the table. The industry needs their voice, insights, perspective, and lived experiences.

The Creative Equals Disabled Creatives programme is a FREE initiative for up to 20 UK creatives who are disabled, neurodivergent, or who live with mental health or chronic health conditions.

It’s designed to invigorate disabled creative careers through tools, support, and a community that gets it. Brought to you by programme sponsor Diageo, with sessions run by world-class creative organisation D&AD.

What do we need from you?

As a community agency mentor partner, here’s what we need:

MENTORSHIP - APPROX 15 HOURS
During the programme offer Creative Mentor(s) - CD level or equivalent, CD team, Head of Design or Design Director to pay it forward by mentoring an individual or team of 2-3 on Diageo creative concept briefs over a 3 week period.

ATTEND FINALE PRESENTATION DAY
Creative Mentors attend and support their team, watch them present their concepts to the Diageo brand clients.  Attendance is mandatory for mentors.

Note: Attendance will be made up of upwards of 80+ game changers including our brand Sponsor Diageo, Agency Mentor Partners and community partners who have supported our initiative.

POST PROGRAMME SUPPORT
Continue to offer mentorship, set up an agency open day or offer our cohort paid opportunities, full time or freelance.

Or if you are feeling generous support our programme by offering us some financial sponsorship - we can offer a sliding scale for smaller organisations.
