creative equals and campaign have launched a new survey to monitor the impact on diversity from covid-19 restructuring.

COVID 19 is not the leveller it was claimed to be. We know it discriminates and the implications of this could set-back the diversity story for the industry for years. We’ve seen this in society with the disproportionate amount of Black, Asian and multi-ethnic deaths - particularly amongst frontline key workers. In our sector, we hear of working mothers who have no choice but to request furlough due to childcare, older workers who are side lined due to ageism and of entry level Black, Asian and multi-ethnic talent schemes that have been paused.

To monitor this inequality and drive action while the key decisions are being made now, this new monthly tracker - Covid-19 Inclusion Pulse will ensure diversity is kept firmly at the top of the business agenda.

They’re looking to gain participants from across the industry to complete the survey, to help better understand the impact of redundancies, furlough and salary reductions on diversity. Insights from the monthly dips will be reported every month in Campaign and at Creative Equals’ monthly webinars.

Complete the survey via here and share with your networks.

Wave 2 Winter Tracker closes on Friday 22 January 2021.
