talkshops

An efficient way to acknowledge and air culture issues

listening to lived experiences = learning

One of the best ways to take away stigma in the workplace and foster a sense of inclusion is to talk about some of the challenges different groups face.

Half workshop, half forum, this is an opportunity for everyone to talk frankly, openly and listen to each other in a safe manner. Ideal for Lunch and Learn sessions and webinars.

what to expect

This half a talk, to ignite a conversation, and half a workshop. Once we understand more about a topic, how can we change our own business practices to be inclusive?

Bite-sized training, on and offline, we ignite conversations around: mental health, inclusive teams, inclusive meetings, all the protected characteristics: race, Gender and Genders, LGBTQIA, ageism, parents, disability, neurodiversity; and topics like classism, covering, privilege, allyship and more.

These conversations can cover everything and anything. Examples of what we’ve covered in past conversations:

  • Growth mindset

  • Mindset and Mental Wellbeing

  • Neurodiversity in the workplace

  • Are you multiculturally aware

  • Let’s talk disability

  • LGBTQIA: out at work

  • Kindness in the workplace

  • How to be an Active Ally

  • Privilege, Class + Covering

  • Multigenerational

  • Inclusive meetings

  • Introverts vs extroverts

  • The Burnout Breakthrough
