RETURNSHIPS: MAKE YOUR CREATIVE COME BACK
CREATIVE MUms (and Dads), COME BACK
Mums (and Dads who may have left), we want you. Our research (Young Creative Council, 2016) revealed more than 60% of young creative females say they can’t stay in the industry with a young family. So, just when career progression dovetails with motherhood we lose our best talent. And, after a few years out of the market, returning Mums interviewing for a job face the ‘Motherhood penalty’. We aim to provide pathways back in, based on how you want to return.
How do you want to come back?
ONE WEEK TO A MONTH AT THE SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION ARTS:
Retrain for free at the world's best ad school. Go back for a week or a month - it's up to you. You'll get a chance to work on fresh briefs, update your book and receive top training.
This is your opportunity to come back to the workplace for six weeks and work alongside a top Creative Director or Design Director, refresh your book and see what’s new in adland.
RETURN TO PERM*:
If you’ve freelanced for a number of years (and your kids are older), but you’re finding it hard get agencies to take you perm (freelance portfolio penalty) or you know you definitely want to return, this one’s for you.
* When your business takes a returner permanently, there is a reduced recruitment fee, a portion of which goes to the Creative Equals Foundation.
We partner with The Industry Club to place talent.
